Abstract Submission Guidelines

1. Abstract Categories:

Submissions are welcome in, but not limited to, the following categories:

• General nuclear medicine.

• Advanced molecular imaging

• Theranostics & radionuclide therapy.

• Pediatric nuclear medicine.

• Basic science, physics, instrumentation, data analysis and image processing.

• Dosimetry, radiation safety and quality assurance/control.

• Artificial Intelligence.

• Education and training in nuclear medicine.

2. General Format:

All abstracts must be submitted in English and structured as follows:

Title: Concise and descriptive (limit to 20 words).

Authors and Affiliations: Include full names, institutions, and email addresses.

Abstract Body: structured into:

- Background / Aim

- Methods

- Results

- Conclusion / Clinical Implications


3. Formatting Requirements:

• Word Limit: 300 words (excluding title and author details)

• Font: Times New Roman or Arial, 11-point size.

• Spacing: Single line.

• Language: English.

• Figures or tables allowed.

• References are optional but count toward the word limit if included.

4. Submission Deadline:

• Call for Abstracts Opens: August 15, 2025.

• Abstract Submission Deadline: September 15, 2025 (11:59 PM local time).

• Late submissions will not be accepted unless otherwise stated.

5. Review Criteria:

All abstracts will be peer-reviewed based on:

• Originality and scientific merit.

• Clinical or translational relevance.

• Clarity of writing and structure.

• Relevance to nuclear medicine and molecular imaging.

• Adherence to formatting guidelines.

6. Presentation Types:
Accepted abstracts will be assigned to:

Oral Presentation.

Poster Presentation (digital or printed).

The final assignment will be determined by the Scientific Committee.

7. Ethical and Regulatory Considerations

• Studies involving human or animal subjects must have ethics committee or IRB approval.

• Case reports must maintain patient anonymity and privacy.

• Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest.

8. Grounds for Rejection

Abstracts may be rejected for:

• Plagiarism

• Lack of scientific merit or clarity.

• Non-compliance with submission guidelines.
